About the seminars
April 18th, 2007 by adminKen Go – A professional photographer specializing in fashion and glamour photography. His pictures regularly see print in major newspapers and glossy magazines. His enthusiasm to share his over 20 years of photography experience had led him to start conducting his own lighting seminars, which he regularly conducts in his own studio in Makati. His methods, which is mostly hands on, is similar to the way he learned his craft. It’s not a surprise that he talks about more than the lesson plan, so expect to hear insights from getting into the business of photography to photo editing. His early adoption into digital has given him good insights of the technology, giving him the edge to answer queries about digital cameras of any brand like Canon, Nikon, Olympus and etc.
Participants have nothing but good praises for his seminars. Here are a few comments from his participants:
“I really like the approach you did on the topic. A lecture without examples would be difficult. We, getting a try on adjusting the lights and thinking of concept gave me a grasp of what it feels like. You being approachable was also great plus, I didnt hestitate to ask questions. For that, a warm thank you. ” KC – June 25, 2006

“Thanks very much for the lighting class. Great class! In comparison to another lighting class that I took previously you are much more thorough. I have a much better understanding to setting up the lights, using the light meter, and ratios. I can honestly say I have much more confidence now than I did before.” Steve – September 18, 2007
“Once again, many thanks for the workshop. Honestly, I really did enjoy it. You explained the concepts clearly and you were also willing to answer all of our questions. Furthermore, I also liked the fact that you also talked about your experience as a professional photographer and the great sense of humor you have.” Fidel – October 26, 2007
“You are a very good teacher, and I hope I can retain and execute everything you’ve taught us. There are many photographers who are good photographers but are not good teachers. You have the distinction of being both.” Keisie – February 22, 2008
“Hi Ken, thank you for sharing with us your knowledge and expertise in the field of lighting. I truly learned so much from you and enjoyed the seminar a lot. Overall, i would rate the 3 day seminar 5 stars
. Keeping the atmosphere light and fun helped us absorb the topics easier. Valuable knowledge was learned without information overload. The actual shoot was the highlight of it all. Being able to apply the topics hands on was the best training anyone could have. I would highly recommend your classes to my friends who are getting into photography like myself.” Louie – March 19, 2008
